Groove Me was born from a simple idea: bringing people together through the music that shaped our lives. It’s a love letter to the Hip Hop and R&B classics that raised us, made us dance, and created memories we’ll never forget. For years, we watched as the music scene shifted, and we realized that there wasn't a safe space for grown folks to get together, vibe out, and celebrate the jams that still make us move. 

That’s why we created Groove Me: a party series dedicated to the magic of music from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

No drama and no judgment. Just a room full of folks vibing to great music, dancing like nobody’s watching, and celebrating the magic of Black culture.

Groove Me is back in the Bull City with a celebration built strictly for the grown folks. It’s Showtime’s birthday, and the soundtrack is all 2000s. Fin the DJ and DJ Block will be locked in with the anthems that defined the era. The joints that had you saving ringtones and burning mix CDs. Tall tees. Jersey dresses. Forces. Throwbacks.
